The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with dance and etiquette instruction...dinner and delicacies service begins at 7:30 p.m. with dance and festivities following at 8:00 p.m. Moonlight carriage rides from 8:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m.

This event commemorates the very first event held in the Assion-Ruffing City Hall building now housing the Delphi Opera House. That event--on July 27, 1865--was a ball for soldiers returning home from the Civil War.
