A Celebration honoring "Miss Peoples"
Join us at an event in appreciation of Gertrude Peoples and her priceless and timeless contributions to University of Washington athletes past and present. Join Gertrude and other Huskies at the Northwest African American Museum to kickoff the 2011 homecoming weekend on Oct. 28, 2011, a Friday.
It's going to be a fun celebration. Bring your memories and old snapshots. Rub shoulders with old teammates. Bring your family and friends as we honor the woman who helped make the Udub home for so many student-athletes and their families.
