In Search of My Clitoris" is a one-woman show that is a clever combination of stand-up comedy and theater that is hilarious and provocative. The performer, Sia Amma, has courageously devised a comedy act to empower and educate the general public on female circumcision.

Sia Amma is out of Africa. She is a stand-up comedian, writer, dancer, and actress who is best known for making fun of African and American cultures, relationships, life experiences, sexuality and, of course, herself. Her presentations combine humor and celebration of her one-woman show called "In Search of My Clitoris" is refreshing, honest, and very informative about the issue of female circumcision. Her newest presentation for mothers and daughters is called "What Mama Said About 'Down There'", for which she has been a keynote speaker and guest lecturer in schools in West Africa the last 6 years.
