Mandala Closing Ceremony
Join the monks of Drepung Loseling for the closing ceremony of the Chenrezig mandala at Tibetan Gallery & Studio. During this beautiful ceremony, the monks will say prayers, and 'dissolve' the sand painting; attendees will receive a bag of the blessed sand.
There are 50 tickets available in total -- General Admission is standing room only; 10 seats are available directly in front of the sand mandala.
There are 2,500 monks at Drepung Loseling in Southern India, and it costs 50,000 Rupees (about $800) a day to feed them all. Our aim in selling these tickets is to cover the costs for two day's of meals with the closing ceremony. 100% of the money raised will be donated to the monastery.
