Bates family Thames and Greenwich
9.30am Guide to meet Bates family at hotel. Catch a black cab to Embankment Pier. Arrive at pier and get kit on for boat journey.
10am Private RIB boat to Greenwich, via Canary Wharf and Thames Barrier. Please note, speed boats are great fun if you love speed and adrenalin! You can't go on the boats if you are pregnant or have a bad back. The view of London from the river is spectacular and the group will see the Houses of Parliament, South Bank, St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, the Shard, Canary Wharf, the Thames Barrier and Greenwich.
10.45am Drop off at Greenwich Pier for a tour of Greenwich. There are lots of different areas to focus on here and the guide can tailor the tour depending on the interest of the Bates family. In Greenwich you'll find the Royal Observatory, the Cutty Sark, the Royal Naval Hospital , the Queen's House and the National Maritime Museum.
1.30pm Stop for lunch in our favourite Italian Restaurant. Or, if the group prefer, they can grab take away food from the amazing Greenwich market and sit in the park for a picnic. Guide leaves.
2.45pm Browse in lively Greenwich market before catching the Thames Clipper back to Embankment Pier.
