Roberta's Fall Garden Dinner
On Tuesday, September 20th, Roberta's will throw a Fall Garden Dinner. All proceeds will help support the maintenance and expansion of the restaurant's garden  an edible landscape nestled within a community park.
Roberta's is working towards greater self-sufficiency by increasing the amount of organic produce grown in-house.  Funds raised on the 20th will make this a reality, by allowing the garden team to buy seeds for next year's growing season and repair, redesign and increase the number of planters within the garden.  In addition, educational outreach programs for school groups will be developed and launched with an emphasis on gardening and cooking.  
Tickets include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a family-style menu featuring choice produce from the garden and a roast suckling pig.  We'll be joined by some key figures in the urban farming movement and a dance party will round out the good times.
