Glasbox Kids' Homelessness Awareness Extravaganza w/BASH The Band & Blackwater
Everyone is welcome as they are and all are treated with respect. There is no particular political or religious belief or affiliation that is represented or required. The intention of the Homelesness Awareness and Educational Extravaganza is to provide insight and teachings on the issue of homelessness, particularly as it pertains to El Paso and Dona Ana Counties. Additionally, the Glasbox Kids, Blackwater, BASH The Band, Vocalist Alesia Griswold and Comedian Jerry Karnes wish to provide an entertaining, fun setting in which to do this. Live music, dancing, a fashion show and performances will facilitate spreading their message. Residents of Dame La Mano Homeless Shelter will be on hand. Monies will be donated to Dame La Mano for items such as food, clothing etc. Additionally, clothing and other in kind donations will be collected by the performers and provided to Dame La Mano Homeless Shelter.It is the hope of the Glasbox Kids and all the other performers to be able to contribute to the well-being and healing of these residents. This year's extravaganza will be held in the indoor theater at the Chamizal National Memorial, located at 800 S. San Marcial El Paso, TX
