Cocktail Making Workshop: Bloody Marys
The lazy days of summer are perfect for picnics in the park, going to the beach and leisurely Sunday brunches. If you want to up your Sunday brunch game, or just enjoy a good Bloody Mary, Slow Food Tennessee Valley's newest cocktail making workshop is perfect for you.
Jessica King, formerly Food and Beverage Director and bar manager for The Oliver Hotel and the Peter Kern Library, will use fresh local tomatoes and seasonal vegetables to teach participants how to make a Bloody Mary cocktail from scratch. We'll learn how to make Bloody Mary mix, celery salt, infused spirits for our Bloody Marys--the works!
The workshop is Sunday, July 26th, from 3-5 pm at Sapphire in downtown Knoxville. In addition to getting to sample the final product, participants will receive recipe cards for all the components and some celery salt to take home. Light appetizers will be served, and additional cocktails will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $25. Our cocktail workshops have been very popular in the past, so if you're interested buy your tickets early to guarantee yourself a spot. For more information, please contact us at info@slowfoodtnvalley.com.
