Council for the Homeless Hope & Action Recognition Luncheon
Join us for the 12th Annual Council for the Homeless Hope & Action Recognition Luncheon, September 23, 2011, 12:00-1:30pm. This is a time to honor volunteers and partners dedicated to ending homelessness. Our theme this year is Opening Doors: Revisiting Housing Opportunities in Clark County. Like most communities, Clark County is facing housing challenges that require new ways of thinking and working together. Keynote presenter Lynn Davison has thirty years experience as an affordable housing advocate and expert on homelessness issues in Washington. Join us an learn how you can be a part of the solution to end homelessness in our community.
The 2011 Hope & Action honorees are: Community Advocate - Pat Wallace, C. Wess Daniels and the Camas Friends Church Quiet Hero - Rosie Schlief and the Bethel Lutheran Church quilters group Community Partner - Victoria Clevenger, Second Step Housing Community Partner - Ray Sellek, Community Services Northwest Community Supporter - Harry Bresnahan and West Coast Bank Community Volunteer - Madeleine Cutter, CFTH Shelter Clearinghouse Community Leader, John McDonagh
