Camarillo Skyway Playhouse is thrilled to continue our series of free staged readings this season with the critically acclaimed play "Yankee Dawg You Die", by Philip Kan Gotanda. Most recently seen performed at the United States' premier theatre for racial diversity, East West Players, it tells the story of the friendship between two Asian-American actors and their conversations about Hollywood, racism, and artistic integrity. A play with "a wicked sense of humor" (The NY Times), "beautifully framed and passionately executed" (San Francisco Examiner), and "entertainment with both heart and soul" (East Bay Express). Free admission and directed by our Artistic Director, Dean Johnson. One Night Only, August 2nd at 7:00 PM do not miss it!
