Nightlife: Beyond the Red Velvet Rope
The Mayor's Ball for the Arts is the Riverside Arts Council's premiere fundraising event. Called "Riverside's best party," the Ball annually attracts over 1,000 artists, arts organizations and leaders from throughout the business and civic community to Downtown Riverside's Historic White Park for a costume party the likes of which this area has never known. But the Mayors' Ball is more than just a party. Last year, the money raised from this one night helped to fund the projects of 19 arts and community-based organizations through our Community Arts Partnership (or CAP) grant program. Their projects are currently impacting more than 40,000 Greater Riverside residents. To reserve your tickets or a table download the registration form! Follow us on facebook on our Mayor's Ball for the Arts page or on Twitter! (InlandArts)

Q&A
Question: |
Is there a "theme" this year? |
Answer: |
The theme this year is "Nightlife: Beyond the Red Velvet Rope". There will be 4 clubs from different eras: Cotton Club 1920's - 1930's, Rainbow Room 1930's - 1940's, The Sands 1950's - 1960's and Studio 54 1970's - 1980's. You can dress for an era, or just dress to go out to a club. |
