Thank you for your interest in Rise in the West! With your help, this will be an exciting art-centric fundraiser to benefit the people of Japan who were directly affected by the tragic events of the past few months.
We, like many of you, have an intensely personal connection to Japan, and we were devastated to hear of the recent earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster that occurred in the beautiful northern prefectures of that beautiful country.
For one day, Saturday, May 14, 2011, we encourage you all to help us as we celebrate local art and Rise in the West, for our Friends in the East.
**If you cannot attend, please purchase tickets and email us at the info below to donate your ticket to a contributing artist!**
Highlights of this event will include:
Local Art Sale: A wide variety of items from local artists at stellar prices.
Silent Auctions: Services and Products from local companies.
Live music: A local DJ will be on site spinning music as the backdrop of the event.
Libations: Samples from craft brewers and other beverages!
All proceeds will go to benefit the American Red Cross in their efforts to help the people of Japan.
