Yuyo Verde
It is a Tango-based band born in Chicago formed by Argentinian and American musicians. The group plays a varied repertoire, from the traditional tango, such as Julio De Caro, to new tango, including Astor Piazzolla. The band combines different sounds originated in Latin-American Folk music as well as Jazz. Yuyo Verde Tango Band aspires to travel through the music looking for new expressive forms, using the tango language as a bridge between different cultures.
