The Botany of Seed Saving
This class covers the scientific underpinnings within the formation of a seed. Topics covered include: taxonomy and nomenclature, pollination methods and mating systems, and seed maturation. The three principal seed-saving considerations--isolation, population size, and roguing--will be explained and discussed.
This is class 1 of 3 in the three-class series: The Art and Practice of Seed Saving. Use this page to register for the single class, or receive a discounted rate when you register for all three classes at once--see The Art and Practice of Seed Saving.
