Star Lights
Join the Buffalo Museum of Science for this adult evening of star gazing, wine and beer tasting. Adults 21 and over only.
Guests can taste samples from local wineries, breweries and restaurants. Be sure to check out the museum's rooftop for spectacular city views and stargazing with the Buffalo Astronomical Association (weather permitting.)
Please note: All four floors inside the Buffalo Museum of Science are wheelchair accessible. However, the rooftop is currently only accessible by stairs.

What happens in case of rain? Is there a make-up date? |

This event will take place rain or shine. The only aspect of the event that takes place outside is stargazing on the rooftop, which would not happen in the case of rain. Everything else is indoors. There will be other astronomy and "science of wine" themed activities taking place indoors, check www.sciencebuff.org for details as they are confirmed. |

I would like my money back. Where did you get that awful pizza from. It was like an oven in the museum. The beer garden was a waste and it was like an oven in that little room. How sad. |

We%u2019re sorry to hear your experience at Star Lights did not reach your expectations. We cannot deny that it got very warm in the museum, but even having our air conditioning on full blast wasn%u2019t enough to handle a heat wave that Buffalo hasn%u2019t seen in years. We sincerely did everything we could to manage the temperature with the resources available to us and we are meeting with the building and grounds crew this week to see what can be done in the future to prevent the high temperatures we experienced on Saturday. The pizza was purchased from Tops, who has been a generous donor to many of the museum%u2019s events. We have never had a problem with their pizza%u2019s quality before, but perhaps ordering such a large number of pizzas from the same location was a mistake on our part and we will try to scatter our orders to several Tops locations in the future. Your feedback is valuable to us and we will certainly use it while planning future events, but due to museum policy we cannot offer refunds for tickets to events or programs unless we need to cancel or postpone the event. |
