Please join us for "The Economics of Everest" with Melissa Arnot, five-time Everest summitter and guide, and co-founder of The Juniper Fund, an organization that supports local staff and laborers in the high Himalayas.  Melissa will discuss the business of running expeditions to Mount Everest, and the challenges and tensions between supporting global travelers and providing for local Nepalis who are indispensable to those expeditions.
