Russkaya Cappella - The First Five Years
Russkaya Cappella is celebrating its fifth anniversary by presenting an evening of evergreen Russian secular and sacred choral classics.
The programme includes music by Bortnyansky, Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Taneyev, Rachmaninoff and Sviridov, with settings of poetry by Fet and A.K. Tolstoy.
Singers from the Children's Singing Studio join Russkaya Cappella for some items. This performance is part of Glasgow's West End Festival 2015.
Concert directed by Stuart Campbell and Svetlana Zvereva with soloists Elizabeth Jack and Susan Sheldon.
