AUGUST 28 (SOLD OUT) and 29 (SOLD OUT): The Broken Bridge: A Selection of Kun Opera Arias and Traditional Chinese Music
Join us for an afternoon of Kun opera arias and traditional Chinese chamber music performed by the Chinese Kwun Opera Society and Spring Thunder Music Association. Highlights of the performance include "The Broken Bridge" scene from "Lady White Snake" (introduced by the renowned kun opera singer Hua Wenyi) and arias from "The Romance of the Western Chamber," "The Peony Pavilion," and other operas. Free, but reservations required.
