Curds & Whey: Home Cheesemaking at Cafe Roka
Join Louella Hill, author of Kitchen Creamery and Bisbee native, as she returns to her old stomping ground of Cafe Roka in Bisbee, AZ, to teach a class on home cheesemaking. Two hours will flash by as you learn to make cloud-like ricotta, taste a selection of beautiful artisan cheeses and hear the story of how Louella went from salad girl at Cafe Roka to a sheep farm in Tuscany to The San Francisco Milk Maid (her current title). Ticket price includes instruction, recipes, cheese tasting and a glass of selected wine from the Cochise region in addition to tasty bites from the kitchens of Cafe Roka. Class size is limited so sign up early!
Copies of Kitchen Creamery will be available for sale at the event or can be pre-purchased here when you buy your ticket.
