Eurodanceparty USA and Richie Aldente land at SPACECRAFT
I'm serious. Are you ready for a good time? Come party with us! Doors at 7:30pm, show at 8:00pm.
"Eurodanceparty USA is not a band, it's a supergroup With coordinated dance moves and over-the-top costumes that usually reflect some kind of American perspective on early 1990s Eurotrash, Eurodanceparty USA are part Balkan, part 1990's America-trash-pop, and 100% good time."
"You may never even notice that you're being schooled in some of the richest and oldest traditions of Balkan culture because you're shaking you booty so hard." - Hearth Music
Seattle-based dance band Eurodanceparty USA is composed of seven American musicians who began crafting their unique take on Balkan music together in 2013. Hailing from the Balkan-inflected brass band Orkestar Zirkonium, the global-folk-pop duo The Lonely Coast, the Eastern European Jewish folk-punk revivalist project Nu Klezmer Army, and various other ensembles, these musicians bring serious love, ridiculous beats, and high-energy dance party joy to popular songs from Albania, Bulgaria, and beyond.
Richie Aldente is among a handful of rising Seattle bands that are redefining the sound of the post-grunge city. With an intelligent fusion of dance beats, yacht rock, disco and contemporary hip-hop, the band creates ferociously infectious music that is smartly crafted but unabashedly fun-loving. While the sound hints of influences from the 70's and 80's, it is decidedly modern, appealing to a new generation of listeners who were born long after the genres that inspired it.
"It comes down to this- the Richie Aldente Band is a fun-loving, hip swinging, dance jiving, genre blending, good time band that you will love to hear and see." - Pittsburgh Music Magazine
