Why Lie? You Could Have Told Me!
Why lie? You could have told me explores the damage done to relationships when people choose to lie in situations where the truth is difficult to tell.
Isaiah Baker is a man that is striving to provide his family with the American dream. After years of success as a loan officer for a major bank Isaiah was able to provide his wife Danielle with a luxurious home, lavish vacations, and a wardrobe fit for a queen. Due to his financial success he was also able to convince his sonâs mother to allow him full custody of their teenage son, Julian, who is trying to launch his music career on MySpace.com. Things were going so smoothly that Isaiah decided to open his own independent real estate agency and mortgage company. Work becomes longer hours and late nights spent away with a beautiful female, and then come the lies. A weekend at Clayton and Earlâs house turns into a month, Danielle slowly begins to realize that Isaiah has changed and their communication is at an all time low. She looks a little deeper into the situation to uncover the life changing truthâ¦
Meanwhile brothers Clayton and Earl have lived the same lifestyle for countless years. When Clayton falls in love with Tanay a young beautiful lady that works at the senior center his relationship with Earl feels the strain. Clayton feels like this may be his last chance to experience true love, but doesnât want to lose his brother as a result. Earl doesnât like that fact that he may lose his brother to a woman and will stop at nothing to end their relationship. These two old dogs arenât afraid to bark. Question is⦠who will be the first to bite?
Witness the laughter, turmoil and consequences as the characters realize that their decision to lie has dug a deep hole that they may not be able to crawl out of.
