The Essential Theatre Trip Planning Party
The Essential Theatre Board of Directors fundraising effort to support the company's effort in preparing for the upcoming Woman's Works Program production of, "The Trip," by Crystal V. Rhodes. The event scheduled for Sunday, March 6th, will be from 1 until 4 PM at Uno's Chicago Grill located at 50 Massachusetts Avenue, NE, Washington, DC, in Union Station. This event will be a celebration of all things Chicago. Featuring Uno's of Chicago all-you-can-eat pizza buffet and drinks, Chicago trivia/ prizes (How much do you know?), cash bar and unreserved first come, first served passes to selected performance of production. "The Trip," is a humorous look at four longtime Chicago friends that embark on a cross country journey who discover after knowing each other half a lifetime they really don't know each other at all.
Scheduled to run as part of the Women's Works Program, May 6th thru May 22nd at the Playbill Café located at 1409 14th Street, NW Washington, DC. Tickets will go on sale at a date TBA in April. The Women's Works Program is The Essential Theatre's effort to reach out to its target demo women 25 thru 65 by producing a production by, for and about women each year that is totally staffed by women. All proceeds from this event will be dedicated to this program and are tax deductable under the law. The Essential Theatre is a 501-c3 organization.
