Funkadesi
The 8-Time Award-Winning band Funkadesi blends Indian music (bhangra, bollywood, folk) with reggae, funk, and Afro-Caribbean grooves. The Chicago-based band's "one-family" vibe makes for a global-groove-drenched show. Debuting at Red Line Tap, Funkadesi is nonetheless thrilled to return to Rogers Park, as the band played it's first show over 18 years back at the Heartland Cafe, and have always enjoyed the love and energy from this community!
