The Lonely Coast (Valerie Holt & Anne Mathews) perform close-harmony duets, lullabies, and folk and traditional music from Europe and the Americas. For this upcoming Garden House Concert they will be joined by special guests Annie Ford and Adam Troy. They have performed on the Duwamish River, in the King County Library System, at Smoke Farm in Arlington, at the Arts in Nature Festival, as part of the Seattle Center's Next 50 celebration, in the City of Seattle's parks (as part of the Parks & Recreation Busker Program), and at clubs and venues in Seattle and beyond.
Their debut self titled CD (2012) is a world-ranging collection of close-harmony duets, recorded at two different sites: out in the fields of a historic Washington State farm, and deep in the recesses of a former detention center in Seattle.
