Farm. Field.Sea. 'Local As It Gets' Soil + Sea Feast'
Gather with new and old friends to celebrate the bounty of Martha's Vineyard
6:00-7:00pm Talk with Island Farmers 7:00-9:00pm Oysters & 4-course Farm Dinner
The evening begins with the unwrapping your picnic basket of provisions, specially created for you by Chef Robert Lionette from Morning Glory Farm and Chef Caleb Lara from Water Street Restaurant. Then we will tuck into a talk with Vineyard chefs, farmers and food activists, where we will learn about their excitement in creating meals from the landscape outside their door and how they are taking farm-to-table a step further - leading the way in cooking food that is nutritious, environmentally sustainable, and just damn good.
Post talk, we will enjoy Oysters by Nic Turner from Honeysuckle Oyster Farm and slide into a four-course dinner by our chefs around a shared table with new friends, island farmers and local purveyors.
