Puppets' Night Out! Presents: "Puppet Pop Pie!"
This Saturday, April 11th at 6PM, Puppet Central presents Shae Uisna and John Teply in "Puppet Pop Pie," A Family-Friendly, Interactive Story Event! (Included in admission is a Puppet Craft Activity after the show.) What goes into the making of a puppet show? Led by Shae & John, participants taste the ingredients of a "Puppet Pop Pie": tossing out ideas, characters, conflicts and puppet superpowers to direct the action of the show. How's YOUR puppet voice?
Shae Uisna and John Teply are the ringleaders of this adventure. When they're not throwing puppets up in the air, they are the owners of Puppet Central and Atelier Gallery. John lives to draw, paint and do portraits, while Shae loves to perform, teach, and make masks and puppets.
"Puppets' Night Out" is a family-friendly puppet and mask performance-series at Puppet Central in Atelier Gallery St Johns, North Portland, Oregon. Every week, a different show! Performances are followed by a puppet craft or theater activity and are recommended for children ages 3 and up. Tickets are $5. Seating is limited, so please drop by the Gallery early to get your tickets, or buy your tickets online at Brown Paper Tickets: www.puppetcentral.brownpapertickets.com (service fee applies with brown paper tickets.)
Regular "Puppets' Night Out" performers include Kelly Campbell of KCPuppetree (www.kcpuppetree.com), Jason Ropp of Dragon Theater Puppets (www.dragontheater.com), Brittany Moering of Britt and The Wily Wayfarers (www.wilywayfarers.com), Amy Gray of ZING Productions, and Shae Uisna of Shae Uisna Puppets (www.ateliergallery.com).
