San Diego International Wine Show
Wine-one of life's little luxuries. While the majority of us love it, most of us would be hard pressed to pick the perfect meal paring, spot those subtle flavors and notes or even decipher the difference between a Malbec and Merlot.
The SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL WINE SHOW is now in its 4th year, not only will there be great wines from California, but we are also introducing the best wines from France, Italy, Spain, and South America including Baja.
Venture to the world renowned Del Mar Fairgrounds on April 25th and 26th, 2015 to savor wonderful whites and refreshing reds while schmoozing with sommeliers about all things wining and dining.
Still the benefits of the event merely begin with the bottle. Soak up the Southern California sun while being serenaded with live music, come and enjoy creative cooking demos
and scrumptious samples from famed chefs and food enthusiasts,sit in on one of the many classes held by our top Sommeliers on all aspects of wine. Or, simply stroll the Paddock and peruse a bountiful buffet of Cigars, olive oil, cheeses, chocolates and other irresistible gourmet items that creatively complement the vast variety of vino on hand. Plus, the fairgrounds 2 great restaurants, 17 Hands & newly remodeled Paddock Tavern will open during event hours to ensure you can dabble in drinks with a comfortably-curbed appetite.
It may not be horse racing, but you can place your money on uncorking the excitement at the SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL WINE SHOW. With the amount of fanfare and fun in store, it's a safe bet.
The San Diego International Wine Show, the brainchild of Donato Santarsieri, is now in its 4th year, and we are still growing and evolving. We are fortunate to have one of the most exclusive and intimate locations in San Diego, The Paddock at the Del Mar Fairgrounds as our venue for our 2-day wine extravaganza. Our mantra, "Explore New Wineries" is the reason we are an International show, we strive to bring new, young and exciting wineries to our show every year, after all who wants to come to a wine show and taste wines that they already have in their collection at home says Santarsieri.
This is a young, vibrant show that is always experimenting. This year we have an impressive collection of wineries from Baja California, also for the first time this year we have great Artists exhibiting their works. Live music has always been a feature of the show as have the impressive seminars involving Sommeliers and Chefs, both demonstrating their knowledge and talent.
