Join us for a unique food and craft beer experience as Fieldwork Head Brewer Alex Tweet and Chef Mike O'Brien (Mikkeller Bar, Perdition Smokehouse and The Trappist) collaborate on "Mardi Gras in April", our Grand Opening Celebration Dinner!
The Taproom and Brewery will provide the setting for a five course Creole tasting menu prepared by Chef Mike paired with Fieldwork Brewing Co. brews selected by Chef Mike and Alex.
We have some special beers in the tanks for our Grand Opening Celebration, so Chef Mike and Alex will be tasting through these beers soon to publish the final menu.
In the meantime, trust us because this menu is going to be phenomenal!
In addition to the food and beer pairings guests will be able to sample any and/or all of the ten + beers we will have on tap for Grand Opening Weekend.

Fieldwork Brewing Company is a craft brewery founded in Berkeley, CA with a focus on exceptional, honest beer-making. Fieldwork brews are served in its Berkeley taproom and at the finest craft beer focused establishments in northern California.
About Chef Mike O'Brien
Chef Mike has dedicated his life to the food service industry for over 15 years. After graduating Suma Cum Laude from the esteemed Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte NC, he "cut his teeth" in some of the finest kitchens in Washington DC. Most notably Birch & Barley/ Churchkey, where he expanded his knowledge of craft beer and the art of pairing food and beer. Mike moved to the Bay Area in June of 2013 to be help open Mikkeller Bar as the Executive Chef. A few months later he took over the food program at the Trappist as well. In June of 2014, he opened Perdition Smokehouse as Chef, General Manager and Beer Director and has honed his skills in all things BBQ and has curated one of the finest draft beer lists in the region
