Qapla' and Welcome...It is another Glorious Day for the Empire!
The 2nd Annual The "First Contact Day Expo & Convention" Weekend, will be held on the panoramic 20+ acre Mojave site, in beautiful Cantil, California. Hosted by the Red Rock Resort (RRR), a Private Membership Desert Event Space and Film Ranch. The "First Contact Expo" Weekend, is one of the most unique experience you'll ever have, come enjoy the wonderful World of Star Trek, it combines a weekend of Fun, Amusement Rides, great Music, outrageous Costumes, Paintball, Challenge Competitions, and more. All with wild night life, combined with the serene, outdoor desert Camping in the balmy Mojave Desert of Southern California.
We anticipate the 2016 First Contact Day Expo's to be a Unique, and Fun time for all. The Klingon Challenge Games will feature hours of insane Activities, across more than 20 acres of Pristine Desert. The 3-Day weekend long Event, has plenty of Parking and space for Camping Drive/Walk-in, and everything is in walking distance, and all Competition Activities will take place nearby.

Objectives: This event is to set in place, a coherent and well-structured Event that will promote Safe, Fun and Competitive Live Action Role Playing, which will help to foster the advancement of all Space related Activities. At the same time, the Event is to be a medium to promote an interest in Star Trek based Live Action Role Playing, new Products, and to Develop new Business through contributing to the promotion of friendly Competition and shared Camaraderie.
This event is offered by the Starfleet Command - Mojave, an American-based International Non-profit Cultural and Educational Organization, and the Event is aimed solely to Educate the Public, and providing friendly Competition, and promote general Interest concerning Star Trek Culture, Society and History. No copyright infringement is intended on our part for the Star Trek terminology and expressions that are held by Paramount, the estate of Gene Roddenberry or of any others.

With our first ever Master of Ceremonies, "TBD", complete with an amazing array of Parade Floats, Troop, Teams, Squads, and Battalions, and of course the Starfleet Command Marching Band. Sunday 1:00 pm

Among the things going on, we are setting up a Starfleet Command HQ Pavilion , and will Host Star Trek Fan Clubs for personal one on one Service. First Contact Parade, the Captain's Ball.
ARCADE, SIMULATIONS, RIDES...
The "Game Caves", 30' Domes, each with a Focus Genre, Halo, 2 Artemis Bridge Simulations, and STO. Each stocked with either PCs, PS4s, X-Box Ones, connected to a LAN, The Future Pavilion will show of amazing Current and Upcoming Technologies and Toys. In the Amusement Thrill Ride Area
FOOD, DRINK, DANCE
The Commissary will be open from 8:00am - 10:00pm present your Food Voucher and order from the Menu. All Meals include one Drink. Cruise over to Quark's and order a Tequilas Sunrise, or stop by the Crash and Burn Bar at Kona Beach. While visiting Risa Beach you may want to stop at Mon Frere's Cajun Cart, for some good old Downhome Southern Cajun Cooking. Don't forget to stop by the 602 Club and grab a Romulan Ale to wash it all down with. Start your mornings at the Quantum Cafe with a Hot Coffee, an Expresso or Juice, and a Croissant to start your day, or close out your night. The Fusion Nightclub will serve up a night of hot jazz, till the wee hours of the morning, and then our laid-back, smoking hot jazzy DJ, will keep the Vibe going till Dawn.

THE GAME
When: April 1st - 3rd Daily
Entry: $10 per 30 minute Game (Prepay and save $$) Air is Included
Paint: $55 a case/ $5 per 50 pack
Equipment Rentals: $5
We ask all Players to be suited up, and Checked-in 15 minutes before their game, for the briefing. The Captain's Charity Teams meetings begin at 7:30. THE CAPTAIN'S CHALLENGE
The Captain's Charity Paintball Challenge is fronted by 1 Captain per Team, and will Command the Federation Forces or the Maquis. 100% of the Profits are split between the two Captain's Charities.

The "Daily Speaker" Event will take place at the Main Stage, and the "Daily Panel" will take place daily, at the 350 seat Starfleet Command Auditorium, the stage will be an Artistic Rendition of the TOS Enterprise Bridge. Located right off Speedway Blvd, next to the Starfleet Command Building. Get your Tickets Early, Limited Seating...

An in-depth look at the Roles, and Future of the "Renaissance Women" in the Private Space Industry and Beyond.
It's a General Sci-Fi Event, so any Hero, from any Franchise is Welcome... With an expected Attendance of 500 - 1,500, we will have Great Food, Great Fun, Music, Awesome Games.
The Event is $15 for the whole 3 day Week-end Pass (if you buy now), or $10 for the Day Pass, that includes everything, including a First Contact Parade, Klingon Challenge Games, Paintball, Game Caves, the Daily Speaker, and Panels, Access to all Bars, Taverns, and the Commissary (requires Food Voucher). Does not Include Autograph Signings, or special Events, Special Events
We have a Captain's Party, Music, Food, Paintball, Game Caves, Art Installations and Displays, lots of cool stuff to do, and top that with a very beautiful location, with views that are breathtaking. There will be a Recreation of Risa complete with several Beaches to run around and play on, with open Host-Bars, such as Quarks Bar, the Crash and Burn Bar, and the area Beach Club Bar. We have a serious Food Offering with Delicacies from some of the best known Species, across the Alpha Quadrant, and beyond, Vendors including the Quantum Cafe, Mon Frere's Cajun Soul Food, and of course the old stand by, the Commissary. There will be Demonstrations, Contest and Competitions, in the "Klingon Challenge Games".
No Costume? No Problem, It's a Vacation Planet on an Outer Ring of Nowhere, take a Pit Stop at the Galactic Gift Shop, located in the HQ Building it's ok to be out of Uniform, get you a Beach Ensemble for a quick outing at Risa Beach Club, you'll be Fine.... You are invited to come in any kind of Costume you can hobble together from your Closet, you will not be judged, this is just an all around Fun Event, and is meant to represent a Vacation Planet on the outskirts of the Universe, so you will see a wide variety of the Franchise's are represented.
This also for those who not only enjoy Dress-Up, but always feel like the place, weather a Convention, or a Movie Premiere, is just not the place they want to be seen in some wacky looking Cos-play Outfit... ( of course, YMMV) Well this is the place to let your inner Geek hang out... Proudly... so... There you have it... hope to see you in the desert my friend, so I can buy you a cold Romulan Ale or a War Nog at Quark's ...
