Leadbetter Farms is a fantasy venue with flaming dragons, outdoor sculptures and a lagoon on 600 oceanside acres. The concert is held in the lavishly built lighthouse. Enjoy the sunset before the concert with wine from our no-host bar and wonderful light bites from the area's best restaurants.
Ashu, Classical Saxophone, with Piano Accompaniment. The young concert saxophonist Ashu has won numerous international awards and competitions, and has performed as recitalist and concerto soloist throughout the world. He made his recital debut at Carnegie Hall and, at age 16, made his concerto debut at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. Since then, performances have taken him throughout the USA and Europe.
Ashu's playing has been described as "just as much fun to watch as it is to listen to him." (Chicago Tribune) and "Musical passion personified"(Vision Magazine). With a dynamic style that captivates audiences, and a repertoire ranging from original soprano and alto sax works by Debussy, Villa-Lobos, and Glazunov to his own arrangements of Piazzolla, Rachmaninoff, and Morricone, Ashu has begun to bring the concert saxophone to a broader audience.
An offering of various appetizers will be passed by tray prior to the concert. A no host wine and beverage bar will be available. All sales within the event will be cash or check only.
