Wildflowers - Spring Along the Pacific Headlands - Muir Beach Vicinity
We'll be hiking the Heather Cutoff Trail, the Owl Trail to Slide Ranch. Then back to the Muir Beach Overlook. From there down through the community of Muir Beach to Muir Beach itself. After lunch on to Green Gulch Farm and a steep climb up to the the top of Coyote Ridge and back down to the cars.
The above subject to change due to weather, POIs of particular interest, hiking capacity of the hikers and desire not to repeat trails recently hiked.
The final decision for the most interesting trails to hike will be made when weather at the trailhead and prospects accordingly; can be determined at that time, in situ.

The hike, with leader Jordan Herrmann, will be more strenuous (Distance 7.8miles with many ups and downs for about a 1000' elevation gain, reaching a high-point of almost 1000'.) A little more then our usual Saturday hikes. We'll get back to the cars at 2:15pm.
Wildflowers are robust and bloom earliest around the Headlands and in the coastal scrub and nearby chaparral.
