The Heart of Bamboo - Featuring Riley Koho Lee and Elliot Kallen
Join us as Internationally acclaimed shakuhachi Grand Master Riley Lee joins us once again for a diverse evening of traditional and (very) non-traditional music showcasing the many facets of this amazing instrument. From the meditative sounds of the Zen Honkyoku to classic ensemble music (and beyond!), this will be a rare opportunity to hear the shakuhachi in many different contexts. Special guests include Elliot Kallen, Ten Ten Taiko, Naoko and a few surprises. Tickets are $15 in advance/ $20 at the door. We recommend getting your tickets early - this event has been standing room only in past years!
