The Community Alliance with Family Farmers is organizing a series of irrigation efficiency workshops for wine grape growers. On June 16th, Sal and Susan Captain of Captain Vineyards will host a workshop at their 2.5-acre site outside of Moraga. Sal will lead participants through a vineyard tour followed by a presentation about drought management strategies from farm advisor Janet Caprile of UCCE. A catered lunch and wine tasting is included with registration.
