Vine and Fig Tree: Songs of the Mediterranean
The Halalisa Singers present: "Vine and Fig Tree: Songs of the Mediterranean". Mary Cunningham directs Boston area's international choral vocal ensemble. The concert features songs of passion and peace from Italy, Greece, Spain, Israel, Serbia, Turkey, Syria and Iraq including "Five Hebrew Love Songs" by Eric Whitacre. Trevor Berens, pianist and Bertram Lehman, percussion accompany the group.
