This is a rare opportunity for the Public to speak directly with the winemakers and winery principals, while enjoying their current release wines PLUS a first glimpse/sneak peak barrel sample of the character of their 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon harvest.

HISTORY and MISSION
The California Cabernet Society is an alliance of wineries committed to expanding worldwide regard and appreciation for California Cabernet Sauvignon.
The California Cabernet Society was founded in 1991 by 40 small wineries for the purpose of promoting Cabernet Sauvignon and educating consumers, trade and media about the qualities of California Cabernet Sauvignon. Each Spring the Society holds a major Barrel tasting in San Francisco, showcasing barrel samples from the most recent vintage. This is a rare opportunity for consumers and members of the trade and media to taste and evaluate the promise and excitement of the newest harvest and its potential to develop into outstanding finished wines, as well as taste current release wines from California Cabernet Society member wineries.
To our knowledge, the California Cabernet Society tasting is the first organized and extensive tasting of the previous Cabernet Sauvignon vintage available to the trade, media and consumers.
