Comedy Aces at The Pilot Tavern March 26th

Comedy Aces is a very unique stand up comedy experience. No amateurs here. Every show features at least four Canadian comedy top guns, with over a hundred years of combined stand up comedy experience between them.

You may recognize many of our "Aces" from television shows like "Just for Laughs". Others you've never even heard of. No matter, they're all hilarious. And every one of them has spent decades honing their craft. In fact, we challenge you to find a more powerful line up of comedy talent on one stage anywhere.

Comedy Aces is presented on the LAST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH at The Pilot Tavern in Toronto. Apart from having a fantastic, intimate showroom venue (The Stealth Lounge) The Pilot has a historical connection to Canadian stand up as well: When the original Yuk Yuks opened at Bay and Yorkville, The Pilot became the unofficial after show hangout for the comedians who performed there.

One of those comedians was Glen Foster, aka "That Canadian Guy" (who recently celebrated his own thirtieth anniversary as a professional stand up) As part of that celebration, Glen decided to do a series of shows called "Comedy Aces" featuring himself and some of long time pros that he came up with.

Glen had originally planned to do only three "Comedy Aces" shows, but the combination of nostalgia and experienced comedy talent proved so popular that he decided turn the series into a regular monthly event.

If you enjoyed going to see live comedy in the eighties and nineties and haven't been in a while, then this is the show for you. And if you're brand new to stand up, this is your chance to see some true masters of the craft.

NOTE: The Stealth Lounge is not a large venue and seating is very limited. Also, due to individual scheduling, we are often unable to provide complete talent line ups in advance.
