Puppets' Night Out! & Britt & The Wily Wayfarers Present: "HOCUS, POCUS...WHOLENESS!"
This Saturday, March 14th, we are delighted to welcome back the talented and lovely Brittany Moering to Puppet Central @ Atelier Gallery! Britt brings us her original tale "HOCUS, POCUS...WHOLENESS!" and has this to say about it:
"Being the smartest wizard in all of Fannowcrest is a remarkable achievement, but is it enough to make one healthy and happy? Meet Hendrick, who has mastered spell making, potion crafting, and magical incantations, but still feels something is missing from his life...The answer may surprise you! Learn the science behind how active games and fitness strengthen the brain as well as the body. Join puppeteer Britt and the Wily Wayfarers on a wondrous journey to discover how mind and body must work together to reach the highest heights!"
The Wily Wayfarers are a band of puppet adventurers who join Britt the Bard on whimsical quests throughout the land of Fannowcrest. On the way, they learn important lessons about friendship, self-confidence, health, and even a little science!
Britt the Bard (Brittany Moering) is an actress, puppet builder, puppeteer, and a lifelong lover of fantasy stories! She built all the puppets you see in her shows and writes the scripts. Britt graduated from the LA County High School of the Arts as a theatre major, and earned her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Portland State University.
Britt enjoys using the art of puppetry to teach young people skills for building friendships, self-confidence, healthy bodies & active imaginations.

Puppet Central @ Atelier Gallery presents "Puppets' Night Out!" a Saturday night, family-friendly puppet series in St Johns, Portland, Oregon.
"Puppets' Night Out" shows feature local Portland and Vancouver performers; they begin at 6PM, and are followed by a puppet craft or activity.
