Janel Leppin has performed internationally in many ensembles from rock
to jazz to contemporary classical and even the avant-garde. DownBeat
magazine calls her an "absolute virtuoso" and the Philadelphia City
Paper said her work is "Akin to a fairytale forest encased in glass".
Over two decades of classical study and a decade of improvisational
study brings Janel to where she is now with her Ensemble Volcanic Ash, which Capitol Bop calls "Aaaahvant-garde at its finest".
