People can't change the world, change their community, or even go to school if they spend vast amounts of time walking back and forth to distant, muddy holes carrying up to 40 pounds of water. Water For People is dedicated to helping create the water and sanitation foundations that will allow people to gain control of their lives and futures. Our goal is to maximize people's potential to meet their development challenges through creative water and sanitation investments. In the locations where Water For People operates, we are working to provide every family, school, and clinic with access to safe water, forever. Water For People could not experience the success it has achieved without the commitment and dedication of our partners in the water and wastewater communities.
Every year, Water For People hosts the Kenneth J. Miller Founders' Award Luncheon during AWWA's Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE) to honor one of our founders and acknowledge our outstanding volunteers and committees across North America.
