An evening to share folklorick dance and bellydancing. Dancers from throughout South Carolina will be here to perform various types of ancient and contemporary styles.

The evening begins with a drum playing workshop at 2:00 - 3:30. Doors open to take a seat and shop at 5:30. Vendors will be selling dance costumes, jewelry, oils etc. Show begins at 7:00. At St. James United Methodist Church in Goose Creek South Carolina.

The 2:00 drum workshop is conducted by Denys Proteau, aka Karadeniz, he is a dancer's favorite musician and a musician's favorite dancer! He plays oud (Middle Eastern Lute), kaval (Eastern European flute), darbuka (hand drum), and kasik (wooden spoons). Karadeniz dances and teaches line dances of Turkey and Eastern Europe, and is a veteran of various Scandinavian, Bulgarian, Turkish, and International bands and dance troupes.

Tickets are 8 dollars in advance for the drum workshop, 10 at the door. Also for the show 8 dollars in advance 10 at the door. For the show there is a student discount, 5 in advance and 8 at the door. Under 12 and over 70 are free. if you pay at the door please bring cash.
