Chamber Folk Portland
The Old Church presents Chamber Folk Portland is what you get when you take a handful of talented local musicians and put them on stage together in one of the best intimate performance venues in Portland.
This new songwriting series' features singer/songwriters Luz Elena Mendoza (of Y Bamba), Samantha Kushnick and Nick Jaina. They will be accompanied by members from Typhoon, Portland Cello Project, & Loch Lomond who make up the house band for this evening: Kate O'Brien (violin), Amanda Lawrence (viola, Loch Lomond), Shannon Steele (violin, Typhoon), and Kevin Jackson (arrangements, Portland Cello Project).
The Old Church, with its acoustic qualities and inspiring ambiance offers a concert experience unlike any other.
