Other Desert Cities
Caroline Scott Players holds its first production, "Other Desert Cities" by Jon Robin Baitz on April 9, 11 and 12 in the Oxford Community Arts Center's north parlor. This Broadway drama is about the Wyeth family gathering in Palm Springs, California for the Christmas 2004 holiday. Brooke Wyeth, the daughter of Polly and Lyman, returns home and announces to the family that she is publishing a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family's history wound they do not want reopened.
Tickets are $12 general admission and $10 students and senior citizens. Performances are as follows: Thursday, April 9 7:00 PM Saturday, April 11 8:00 PM Sunday, April 12 2:00 PM
**Online sales for each performance will end 12 hours before that performance. After that time, further information will be available on the Caroline Scott Players line at 513-524-1277. Tickets at the door can be paid with cash or card.
Caroline Scott Players is a newly resident semi-professional theatre company for the Oxford Community Arts Center founded by Bill Brewer, Founding Artistic Director and underwritten by an anonymous local arts patron. The group was an outgrowth of interest by various actors and designers over the past few years. Please come and support your local theatre company and experience a night of pure entertainment.
