Biére de Girls: A Collaborative Women's Beer Series
Girls' Pint Out, The OG: St. Louis Women's Craft Beer Collective and Femme Ferment are teaming up to educate the women of St. Louis in a three event series this Spring!
Women are invited to join us all at O'Fallon Brewery in O'Fallon, MO on Sunday, March 15 at 11:00am to participate in a homebrew demonstration. Each club designed and will be brewing up a batch of homebrewed beer. We'll have all levels of homebrew demonstrations, from extract to all grain with four different homebrews setups for women to see and experience. This is a hands on educational event so women can learn about the art and science behind homebrewing. Cat of O'Fallon Brewing will be on hand to give tours and discuss her role as a brewer at O'Fallon. Feel free to bring a bottle to share, snacks will be provided.
On Monday, April 6 at 7:00pm, join us for the continuing conversation at our second of three events at Larder and Cupboard in Maplewood for an educational event. Karen King of Side Project Brewing will guide a sensory panel and Robin Wheeler of Larder and Cupboard will guide a food pairing. Come enjoy 7 local beers covering a broad spectrum of styles, including those that were brewed at O'Fallon.
Finally, join us for our third event at Heavy Riff Brewing Company on Monday, April 27 at 5:00pm for the release of the four homebrewed beers. Heavy Riff will be serving up their own beers from the bar and food is available for purchase. The release of the four homebrewed beers will be served up in a unique commemorative glass representing the women in the St. Louis craft beer community.
