PLAY DESDEMONA
It is London, 1661, and a tavern singer receives secret instruction in the performance of two great Shakespeare roles. As she discovers and inhabits Beatrice and Desdemona, she, and her tutor, reveal secret fears and troubled pasts, and evolve from ferocious opponents to uneasy collaborators to parties in an alliance more profound than either could ever have imagined.
Starring Broadway talents Michael Fitzpatrick and Martin Kildare, Sage Hill Faculty member Mary (Kildare) Robinson, Sage Hill alumni Sydney Endicott (class of 2014), and Eric Marlin (class of 2006).
