Fringe Percussion's "Boundless"
Join Fringe Percussion for an evening of exceptional music that harnesses the boundless energy of sound. Audiences will be treated to a rhythmic, vibrant, and captivating body of work by acclaimed artists Toru Takemitsu, Russell Hartenberger (Nexus, Steve Reich and Musicians), Michael Oesterle, Claude Vivier, and Julia Wolfe (Bang on a Can). The program features the Vancouver concert premieres of Vivier's "Pulau Dewata", Osterle's "Carrousel", and Wolfe's "Dark Full Ride". Experience some of the best music for percussion in the captivating surroundings of the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts' World Art Centre.
