Lovers Laugh Lounge
Looking for an awesome time in the Bay Area please join hilarious hosts Chris Riggins and Mario Hodge for a night to remember. Their mission is to bring as many smiles to as may faces as possible. Couples are strongly encouraged as the gift of laughter is to be shared. This show happens the first Saturday of every month beginning February 7th, 2015.
Tacarra Carthan
Tacarra Carthan is a pre-school teacher, plus sized model, and wife to Nick Carthan. She is one of the fastest rising comedians in New York and Los Angeles. Creating humor of her rough life as a twin and sibling to seven others, Tacarra dares to be the voice for every woman too afraid to think aloud. She does not bow down to the prejudiced opinions of men. Her attitude towards female empowerment has earned her respect and love from women throughout the Tri-State area. "Why cry when you can laugh? Besides, people are ugly when they cry!"
Opening for big names (Tony Rock & Bill Bellamy) at high places (Laff House, Philadelphia,PA & Caroline's, New York, NY), she has shared her versatile concepts with many. Tacarra has blessed stages of colleges/universities and comedy clubs nationwide. Her routines are original, unique, and hilarious!Tacarra speaks on every topic thought of to mankind, and still viewers want more!
Nick Carthan
Nick Carthan was born May 22, 1981, SouthSide Jamaica Queens New York.His mother is from Trinidad, his father from Brooklyn, and he has a sister who is a dance instructor. But Nick can't dance at all, so he makes his own moves. He got his start hosting poetry shows; but, instead of trying to make people laugh, Nick was really just being himself. On January 1, 2011, Nick took to the stage at Mocha Lounge in Harlem, and has been hitting stages ever since. It was on this road to being funny that he met his comedian wife, Tacarra, and they were married within six months of their meeting.Later the made a home in Los Angeles where they made a pact to be the "Bonnie & Clyde" of comedy. He made a household name as "Nick Hollywood." He has ripped stages all across Los Angeles and gained a new following. If you are loking to laugh until you cry Nick Carthan is your guy!
