Winter Fest

A collection of monologues, scenes and songs, Winter Fest showcases Sage Ridge School's most dedicated theatre students, grades 7 12. Audiences will enjoy a variety of comedic, dramatic and musical material from a diverse selection of playwrights.

Directed by Mr. Cameron Crain with Assistant Direction from Rachel Lopez and Music Direction by Mr. Richard Hutton, this lively variety show showcase benefits the student performers by offering them an opportunity to share their individual theatrical gifts with the greater community. It also gives them the chance to perform their material with a live audience before taking their events to the Northern Nevada Regional Theatre Festival at Damonte Ranch High School on February 6 & 7. Winter Fest performs will be judged by local professional theatre directors, teachers and performers. Those students scoring an "Accomplished" or "Proficient" rating will be invited to represent Sage Ridge School at the Nevada State Thespian Competition in Henderson, March 18 21, 2015.
