January Southern Section AZ APA Brown bag Program
Mr. Tom Schwetz is the Planning and Development Manager for Lane Transit District (LTD) in Eugene Oregon.  He has over 30 years professional experience in regional transportation planning, project management and team leadership.  Over that time, Tom has worked to facilitate fruitful regional policy decisions for regional change through bringing together good data, insightful analysis, and strong public engagement.

Tom is responsible for both the long range and service planning functions at LTD. This includes direct planning and development of the region's bus rapid transit system, LTD's Annual Route Review process and other planning initiatives. Tom also leads strategic planning initiatives at LTD including LTD's Long Range Transit Plan and Scenario Planning. Tom is currently overseeing the Northwest Eugene-LCC corridor study and the Main Street-McVay Transit Feasibility Study in Springfield.

Prior to coming to the Lane Transit District, Tom worked at the Lane Council of Governments for 20 years as Transportation Program Manager responsible for development and adoption of the Eugene-Springfield's regional transportation plan. He has a Master of Science in Commerce and Business Administration (Transport) from the, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia; and a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the California Polytechnic University, Pomona, California.

1 CM credit is pending for this session.  This program will start promptly at noon and finish at 1:30pm.  Registration and lunch will begin at 11:45.  

REGISTRATION/LUNCH DETAILS:
If you are paying the registration at the door, on the day of the event, use either Student Ticket (No Lunch) or Professional RSVP Only.
If you are attending and would like to order food, choose either Student Ticket with Lunch or Professional Ticket with Lunch.
If you are attending and will bring your own lunch, choose either Student Ticket (No Lunch) or Professional Ticket Only. Lunch will not be available for purchase on the day of the event.

This month we will have burritos from Los Jarritos for lunch.  For $6 you will get your choice of a burrito (beef, chicken or bean), a drink, and a treat. Arrive early for a better selection of burritos.

Raffle tickets will be sold to benefit our scholarship fund. Bring your cash! $1 for one ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.
