Young Tom Sawyer gets himself into never-ending mischief with best friend Huck Finn, tricks his friends into white-washing a fence for him, sweetens up to Becky Thatcher, hides from Aunt Polly, and narrowly escapes danger in a thrilling and inspirational musical comedy for the whole family.
The musical was conceived and written by award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) with music and lyrics by Grammy-winning country music songwriter Don Schlitz. The Broadway production premiered in 2001.
