Traditional Afro-Cuban & Afro-Haitian Dance:
Both Days (Sat & Sun) 11:30pm - 1:30pm
Contemporary Technique with Afro-Cuban Influence:
Both Days (Sat & Sun) 2:00pm - 4:00pm

CLASSES OPEN TO ANYONE WITH ANY KIND OF DANCE EXPERIENCE. No Afrocuban dance experience necessary.
Classes accompanied by live percussion group.

ABOUT THE TEACHER - SILFREDO LA O VIGO
Silfredo La O Vigo is a professional dancer in the Afro-Cuban and Haitian tradition, as well as popular Latin dance and modern. He is a graduate of the National School of Art in Havana (Cuba) where he obtained a B.A. in Modern Dance and Afro-Cuban Dance. He was a soloist for the Ballet Folklorico Cutumba in Santiago for five years,performed for one year with Danza Contemporanea de Cuba in Havana, and toured with the modern dance company ODC / San Francisco from 2001 to 2003. He now resides in San Diego and currently teaches at Palomar College as a Dance Professor.
